Bills Games To Look Forward To

Buffalo Bills Games to Look Forward to in 2021

The Buffalo Bills have their official schedule for 2021 and fans will have an opportunity to see if they have improved from their AFC Championship appearance in 2020. The Chiefs and Buccaneers are both on the schedule in 2021, giving Bills fans a look at the top competition in the entire NFL. The Bills have four primetime games this season. Among those primetime games are other great matchups that will entertain Bills fans this season. Here are five Bills games to look forward to in 2021.

Bills Games to Look Forward to in 2021

1. Kansas City Chiefs, Week 5, Sunday Night Football

The Bills’ biggest game of the season comes early in Week 5 with an AFC Championship rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs went through a big change on their offensive line with Buffalo adding heavily to their defensive line. The new matchups between these two units should provide for an interesting change in direction from the matchup last January.

Two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will battle yet again in what should be an entertaining display of offense from both sides. Buffalo added speed to their offense this off-season with additions such as rookie Marquez Stevenson and veteran running back Matt Breida. The Chiefs overhauled their offensive line and have given Patrick Mahomes the potential protection he didn’t have last year. It will be exciting to see this potential AFC Championship preview so early in the season as the teams will proceed to develop for the potential rematch.

2. New Orleans Saints, Week 12, Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football

This will be Buffalo’s second appearance on Thanksgiving in the last three seasons. Buffalo defeated the Cowboys on Thanksgiving in 2019 and will look to defeat the Saints in their first season without Drew Brees in over a decade. The Bills have become a super contender since their last appearance on Thanksgiving and the Saints have been contenders for many years.

This matchup will showcase offensive stars from last season on both sides. New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara had a great 2020 season and Bills receiver Stefon Diggs was arguably the best receiver in football last season. The defenses for both teams will need to shut down these superstars’ weapons to give their team a chance to be victorious on Thanksgiving.

3. Tennessee Titans, Week 6, Monday Night Football

The Bills will certainly have this game circled on the schedule as the Titans were one of just three teams to beat them in 2020. The Titans were also responsible for giving the 2020 Bills their first loss of the season. The Titans’ offense showed some of Buffalo’s defensive weaknesses that Kansas City used to their advantage in the AFC championship in that game. The Bills will be looking for revenge on Tennessee in primetime when they play on Monday Night Football.

The game will feature many of the same players from last year’s game with a few new faces such as Bills receiver Emmanuel Sanders and Titans receiver Josh Reynolds. It will be interesting to see if Buffalo’s additions on defense will be enough to get past the Titans in week six. Bills fans who want revenge for last year’s matchup will definitely have games versus the Titans as Bills games to look forward to.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Week 14

The Bills were one victory away from facing Tom Brady’s Buccaneers in 2020, but they avoided the Bucs in the end after losing to Kansas City. They will have a game against Tampa Bay this season when the two teams meet in week 14. Tom Brady made a career out of beating Buffalo for most of the 20 years he played for New England. Josh Allen never got the chance to beat Brady with New England, but will have a chance to defeat his Buccaneers.

The defending super bowl champions will be difficult to beat, but Buffalo will want to defeat Brady for their hardcore fan base who aren’t fans of the quarterback. It will also be exciting to see what the super bowl might have looked like if Buffalo had been victorious against Kansas City last season. Games between these two teams will always be Bills games to look forward to for the foreseeable future.

5. New England Patriots, Week 13, Monday Night Football

The last game on this list is the classic Buffalo versus New England matchup. Buffalo has been running behind New England for many years and now it’s Buffalo’s turn to run the AFC East. The Bills and Patriots are always Bills games to look forward to for fans of the teams and a good look at who is the best in the division.

The added fuel of primetime gives another element to this already classic matchup. This is Buffalo’s only primetime home game for 2021 so the fans will be loud and excited for this game which will certainly give New England problems if their rookie quarterback Mac Jones is playing by the time this Week 13 game takes place.
