Best Odds to Win the 2021-22 NBA Championship

The race to the NBA Championship begins tonight as the Nets take on the Bucks and the Warriors travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers. We now come into the 2021-22 season with more intrigue than ever as there’s a handful of teams in each conference in contention for the ultimate prize. As we enter the new season, the odds have come out to hoist the NBA Championship and the top-four teams are playing on opening night. With fans coming back for the whole season, this will be the most anticipated season in recent memory.

Best Odds to Win the 2021-22 NBA Championship

Nets (+275)

Even without Kyrie Irving to start the season and potentially even the whole season, the Brooklyn Nets still have two of the best in the business with two MVP candidates in Kevin Durant and James Harden. Everyone was questioning if these two would fit together on the same court and they proved that they can and maybe even better than expected. We know what these two can do but they have some great pieces like Joe Harris, Blake Griffin, and Patty Mills to help. This team will be dominant but if Kyrie can return, they would be favored even more to win the NBA Championship.

Lakers (+375)

Everyone has the Nets taking on the Los Angeles Lakers for the NBA Championship and why wouldn’t they? We know what the Nets hold but the Lakers have the talent to match. The Lakers also have one of the best duos if not the best duo with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. These two will also be in the MVP conversation but like the Nets, the Lakers also have important pieces around James and Davis. They added another star with Russell Westbrook joining them. Carmelo Anthony also joined the party in hopes of an NBA Championship. With all of the talent on the court, it’s easy to see why they’re the favorite in the West.

Bucks (+900)

The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a great run to win the NBA Championship last season and they look to continue their success this season. Even though the Nets and Lakers are the clear favorites, don’t sleep on the Bucks. They have former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo taking over the league at just 26 years of age. The scary part for other teams around the league is that Giannis is just entering his prime. The team around him is mostly the same except for adding a couple of pieces for the bench. With Khris Middleton alongside Giannis among other things, this team is poised to show people last year wasn’t a fluke.

Warriors (+900)

For the first time in two years, the Golden State Warriors are not only expected to make the playoffs but are one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship. They’ll come into the season without Klay Thompson yet again as he recovers from an Achilles injury he suffered right after rehabbing from his torn ACL. Thompson is expected to rejoin the team before the end of the calendar year. With Steph Curry healthy, his formidable duo will be back to creating havoc before we know it. They also will have a ready Draymond Green, who can rekindle that fire knowing what’s to come when Thompson returns.

In his absence, this team will rely on guys like Andrew Wiggins to continue to put up 18 points a game like last season. He’ll play yet another key role on this team with or without Thompson. They’re also reuniting with an old friend in Andre Iguodala, hoping he can bring to this team what he did in his first time around. This team will be dangerous when fully healthy and primes to regain their thrown in the NBA.
