The Philadelphia Eagles have made building an offensive line one of their struggles this season. After losing their best offensive lineman, Lane Johnson, they are now struggling to find a new one to replace him. It is very important to protect the quarterback and keep the running back room healthy and strong. The Eagles will definitely need to look for new players on the line. Let’s look at some potential trade deadline targets for Philadelphia.
Three Offensive Linemen the Eagles Should Target
1. Kadyn Proctor
Kadyn Proctor may be a member of the Miami Dolphins now, but the former Alabama star is exactly the type of offensive lineman the Eagles should have pursued in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins selected Proctor with the 12th overall pick after he finished his Alabama career as a consensus All-American and first-team All-SEC selection. He also won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the SEC’s top offensive lineman.
At 6-foot-6 and more than 350 pounds, Proctor brings the rare combination of size, power and athleticism that could make him a dominant NFL tackle. Miami specifically highlighted his ability to play four positions along the offensive line: left tackle, right tackle and both guard spots.
That versatility would have been extremely valuable for Philadelphia. The Eagles have built their success around having a physical offensive line, and Proctor’s powerful run blocking would fit that identity perfectly.
Although Philadelphia didn’t get the chance to draft him, Proctor is a player Eagles fans should keep an eye on. If he develops into the dominant lineman many expected coming out of Alabama, he could eventually become a player the Eagles wish they had found a way to acquire. It is unlikely that Proctor is available, but considering the Eagles current situation, it is certainly worth a phone call.
2. Caleb Lomu
Caleb Lomu is a great strong prospect to go after for the Eagles. Lomu would bring impressive size and could be a great player that could possibly develop into one of the best linemen in the league. For the Eagles, adding a talent like him could definitely help them in the future years.
The Eagles definitely need an offensive lineman, and Lomu would be the perfect fit. If the Eagles are looking for their next offensive lineman, Lomu could be that guy to address their issues. Lomu went to Utah and was drafted by the New England Patriots this year and selected in the first round, 28th overall.
He is 6′ 6″, 313 lbs. He is a very big offensive tackle and could be the best tackle selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.
3. Walker Little
Walker Little could definitely be another option for the Eagles. The Eagles are looking to strengthen their tackle position. Little would be a great option to go after. Little is a 27-year-old veteran from Stanford. He is 6′ 7″, 325 lbs. If the Eagles were to go after him, that could be an excellent choice. He is a talented tackle and well-experienced.
He is currently with the Jacksonville Jaguars and is one of their starting tackles as well. After the retirement of Johnson, the Eagles are looking for a new tackle, and he could definitely be the missing piece. For the Eagles, Little might not be a great addition at first glance, but he could definitely prove them wrong.
If the Eagles can’t find a way to make a significant trade happen, they will have to wait for the 2027 NFL Draft, which is something Philadelphia can’t really afford to do if they’re looking to succeed this season.
