The college football season is entering week 4, and before we know it, the collegiate stars will be in the NFL.
Week 4 is just starting with amazing showdowns, but most of all, amazing players. Scouts from all around the country will be watching these players so they can be picked up in the NFL Draft, and as more games are played, more players are identified as talent that you want to keep your eye on.
NFL Draft Prospects
WR Charlie Becker, Indiana Hoosiers
The Indiana Hoosiers lost their top two star wide receivers last year to the draft. But the Hoosiers have plenty of talent to replace them: Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh. But all eyes are on Becker, who entered 2026 with high expectations of helping the Hoosiers win the national championship. Now, Becker has NFL scouts’ attention. Becker is considered a high draft pick for the 2027 draft.
Becker is already off to a great start with 272 yards, six touchdowns, and averages 22.7 yards per catch. He is one of the best WRs in college football; he is 6’4”, 208 lbs. Becker has size, speed and the ability to make tough catches.
CB Zabien Brown, Alabama Crimson Tide
Zabien Brown is considered to be a high draft pick. Brown entered college in the year of 2024, ranked as an elite cornerback. In Brown’s first year with Alabama, he had three interceptions and 18 total tackles while playing all 13 games that season.
Brown is a lockdown cornerback with an advanced football IQ. One of his best abilities is speed, as he stays on the receiver’s tail and has great awareness. NFL scouts will definitely keep an eye on him with the great talent he has. Brown is 6’2”, 194 pounds; adding a little more weight and muscle will definitely help him for the draft. Pretty likely he would start almost immediately.
WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State Buckeyes
Jeremiah Smith continues to show how great a wide receiver he is. Smith had a dominant performance against a top-ranked Texas team. Ohio State may have lost that game in a devastating way, but Smith has locked himself down as a top receiver in college football entering Week 4. We probably don’t need to watch Smith to see how good he is.
Smith enters the 2027 draft as one of the top prospects in college football. The Ohio State receiver has the size (6’4”), great route running, vertical speed, and the ball skills. Smith was projected as a top-five potential pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Smith’s comparison player is Julio Jones with the size, speed, and catching ability, and as we all know, Jones was very successful in the NFL. For Smith to stay as a top-five pick in the NFL Draft, he needs to use his abilities well; he really just needs to keep doing what he always does.
