Just like that, another season of BIG3 Basketball has passed, and it’s been a great summer of hoops. It ended with the Miami 305 winning the 2025 BIG3 Championship over the Chicago Tripets 52-48 in what was an all-time classic. With that came great individual performances from both the winning and losing teams, including seeing a pair of double-doubles put up in the game. Miami got its revenge after the Triplets defeated them in week 8, 50-41, and that game led to the bad blood we saw this time around between these two teams, making for one of the best BIG3 Championship games in league history.
Top Performances in the 2025 BIG3 Championship Game
Â
Michael Beasley (Miami 305)
2025 BIG3 Championship Stats: 25 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks
Michael Beasley does it again. He put up a double-double in back-to-back playoff games to lead Miami to the 2025 BIG3 Championship. Beasley scored 25 points this week and, just like in the semifinal, put up 12 rebounds and three assists. He also had two blocks after having three last week. The back-to-back BIG3 MVP also put together a double-double in last year’s championship game. This time around, he brought the trophy home.
Montrezl Harrell (Chicago Triplets)
2025 BIG3 Championship stats: 16 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks
The BIG3 Rookie of the Year was awarded to Montrezl Harrell, and he showed why with his 16-point performance in the championship game. He stuffed the stat sheet as well with his three rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a steal. Harrell and the Triplets just came up short, but he laid it all on the line and had some highlight reel moments to give the Triplets a chance.
Lance Stephenson (Miami 305)
2025 BIG3 Championship stats: 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block
The duo of Beasley and Lance Stephenson didn’t disappoint when it mattered most, whether it was this week or last. Stephenson put up a double-double last week and led all players in the semifinals in points with 23. In the championship game, he nearly put up another double, scoring 14 points and grabbing nine boards. When he gets going, he changes the feel of the game. Stephenson was a perfect fit for the BIG3, and he showed that in his rookie year.
Nasir Core (Chicago Triplets)
2025 BIG3 Championship stats: 13 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal
Nasir Core didn’t have the biggest game last week, but he played a part in the Triplets getting to the 2025 BIG3 Championship. In this game, he played a bigger role. He was one of two players, the other one being Beasley, to tally a double-double as he scored 13 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Core had a couple of chances to end it for the Triplets, but his questionable decision-making late played a part in coming up short. Despite that, Core was a big reason why Chicago even made it within a bucket to win it. As this game suggests, Core was one of the best assist men and rebounders in 2025.

Chris Allen (Chicago Triplets): 9 points, 1 rebounds
Brandon Moss (Chicago Triplets): 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 3 blocks
