We are headed down the stretch of this College Football season and there are a lot of big games ahead for many teams the rest of the way. This week features three games where both teams are ranked and two of the games are undefeated teams going at it. What makes it even batter is that these teams are either fighting for a spot in the College Football Playoffs or a chance at the conference championship. This weekend will be very exciting. Here are the three biggest games on Saturday in College Football.

Three Biggest Games On Saturday In College Football

#18 Iowa vs #13 Wisconsin

These two teams are fighting for a chance at the conference championship game as part of the West in the Big Ten. Both teams have the same record in the conference and overall. Wisconsin is coming off of the bye and two straight weeks of losing. They are a hungry team looking for blood after a terrible loss to Illinois and Ohio State. The defense at home should be a bright spot but they need the offense to get going.

Running back Jonathan Taylor is looking to build on a Heisman season so far. He will be tough to stop but Iowa won’t lay down and let that happen. They are also coming off of a bye but they have two wins in their last two games. Iowa’s defense has been stellar this year as well. They have been good at getting stops, forcing three-and-outs, and they won’t let teams score in the red zone. The most points they’ve given up all season was 20 to Purdue three weeks ago. This will be a very good matchup in the afternoon.

#4 Penn State vs #17 Minnesota

The battle of the two undefeated teams will kick off the day in Minnesota. Both teams sit at 8-0. Penn State is fighting for a playoff spot as they sit at number four. They are fighting with number one Ohio State in the East. Minnesota is very well ahead in the West and has a good chance to play in the Big Ten conference game. A win for either team will give them a huge boost heading down the stretch. Minnesota is doing so well that they extended head coach P.J. Fleck for seven years. Both teams are rolling but only one can stay undefeated and that’s what makes this game so big.

#2 LSU vs #3 Alabama

The biggest game of them all, the game everyone has been waiting for is this Saturday is LSU vs Alabama. This game as HUGE implications in the College Football Playoffs. Both teams are undefeated in the same division in the SEC. Whoever loses will likely be held out of the playoffs depending on what happens the rest of the season. LSU’s defense hasn’t been the powerhouse like in the past but the offense has picked it up and they are rolling. Quarterback Joe Burrow is a Heisman Trophy favorite for the season he is having.

Tua Tagovailoa is always in the conversation but he’s been hurt this season including heading into the game against LSU. He has been working very hard to play in this game and likely will. He is a huge difference in Alabama’s gameplan. This is the biggest game in College Football and will be for the rest of the regular season. Alabama is the favorite to win this game at home but we all know that it doesn’t matter one bit. Buckle up because this is gonna be a fun ride.

The Final Review

This is setting up to be one of if not the best weekend in College Football in the regular season. Ohio State is at number one as they host Maryland. LSU is two and they travel to play number three Alabama. Number four Penn State travels to face number 17 Minnesota. There will be a huge shakeup in the College Football Playoff rankings after this weekend. Other teams are fighting for a spot as well. Clemson is undefeated and sits at number five and Georgia has a loss and sits at number six. With just a few weeks to go, there’s no room for error for any team.
