3. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars did an amazing job turning their team around and claiming the AFC South title. They just need one boost on their team that could make them true Super Bowl contenders, and that is one more pass rusher. A player like Crosby would change everything for the Jaguars.
Travon Walker is the top defensive player on the Jaguars, and that’s not to forget about Josh Hines-Allen, who is a beast, recording 17.5 sacks in 2023.
You add Crosby to the Jaguars they could have the best defense in the NFL. The question is, do they have the assets to give to the Las Vegas Raiders in return for Crosby? They have pretty good talent on their team that they could give up for him; a player like Walker, Antonio Johnson, or maybe even Brian Thomas Jr., a speedster on the field.
2. New England Patriots
The New England Patriots didn’t appear to be in the mix for Crosby because they found the least expensive solution, bringing in Dre’Mont Jones from free agency. The Patriots are the reigning AFC champs. They made it to the Super Bowl last season, taking a loss to the Seattle Seahawks 29-14.
Crosby could change that for New England. Crosby is a perfect fit; he is a great pass rusher, and he probably wants to join a team that will win a Super Bowl in the upcoming year. Crosby could bring a lot to New England; stopping the run, pass blocking, and quarterback pressure.
The Patriots have a young offense and defense. Players like Joshua Farmer, Caleb Lomu, quarterback Behren Morton, and also draft picks, which would mean they would probably not need to trade any players.
1. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys last season went 7-9-1. Not a great season. They had one of the worst defenses in 2025, including their pass rush and in turnovers. Jerry Jones said he would be aggressive in free agency, but he only picked up two decent players, adding edge rusher Rashan Gary and safety Jalen Thompson. Trading away Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers was a decent trade, but maybe not the best idea.
Crosby could solve that problem. He is a pass rusher and has averaged 10 sacks per year, and he could definitely shut down the run game and pressure the quarterback. The Cowboys’ best defender is Quinnen Williams, but he is a defensive tackle, not edge. Crosby, on the other hand, could be the solution. The Cowboys have the right candidates to trade away for Crosby, like George Pickens, LT Overton, star tight end Jake Ferguson and draft picks if needed.
