Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season is here, and here are three underdogs to watch that can pull off upsets on the Week 3 slate.
Three Underdogs to Watch on the NFL Week 3 Slate
Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders (+3) at New Orleans Saints (-3)
The Raiders have been one of the bigger surprises in the NFL through the first two weeks. They have pulled off wins against the Los Angeles Chargers and Miami Dolphins, with the Chargers game being an outright underdog. Vegas could look to make it two upsets in a row by going on the road and taking down a Saints team that has equally been impressive to start the season.
The Raiders are expected to add one of their best offensive weapons back in Brock Bowers, who will make his season debut on Sunday. If the Raiders can find a way to continue to play through Ashton Jeanty while easing Bowers back into the offense, it will keep the pressure off of Kirk Cousins, which could be a recipe for a win on Sunday.
Defensively, the Raiders will need to find a way to contain Saints quarterback Tyler Shough. The second-year player has a knack for making plays with his arms and legs, and the Raiders will need to make sure they contain Shough.
Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans (+2.5) at New York Giants (-2.5)
The Titans are in a prime position to pull off an upset Sunday when they go on the road to take on the Giants. The Giants are dealing with a multitude of injuries right now, the biggest one being their quarterback, Jaxson Dart, who is out for the season. Jameis Winston is a formidable backup option for the Giants, but he is still a downgrade from Dart.
Tennessee took the Philadelphia Eagles to the brink in Week 2, almost pulling off the upset as an outright underdog. It took a final drive from the Eagles to pull off the win. With the Giants dealing with a litany of injuries right now, including starting wide receiver Malik Nabers and outside linebacker Brian Burns, the Titans could hand the Giants their second straight loss of the season.
Winston will give the Titans defense a chance to make plays, as he has never been shy to let the ball fly, which the Titans defensive backs will need to be ready for when those opportunities come their way.
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys (+3.5) at Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) (in Brazil)
The Cowboys can make a statement on Sunday in Brazil by taking down the Baltimore Ravens. Dallas bounced back nicely against the Washington Commanders last week, but it came at an unforeseen injury to Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels had run all over the Cowboys before his injury, so the Cowboys will have a tough task trying to stop Lamar Jackson on the ground. However, the Ravens just dropped a game to the Saints at home and could be without top receiver Zay Flowers for another week.
Even if the Cowboys’ defense can’t stop the Ravens offense, the Cowboys are capable of hanging with the Ravens in a shootout. On a neutral field in Brazil, anything can happen, and the Cowboys have the requisite firepower on offense to pull off an upset.
