The second half of the BIG3 season rolls on with Week 6, as the playoff push is well underway with only a few weeks left. There were multiple headlines coming out of the week, including more than a handful of 20-point performances.
Last week, Montrezl Harrell set the record for most points scored in a BIG3 game (42). This week, Earl Clark became the BIG3 all-time leading scorer with 706 points scored, previously held by Joe Johnson (704 points). Power also became the second team to clinch a playoff spot this season, joining the Chicago Triplets, who both have a record of 5-1. Meanwhile, there are no more undefeated or winless teams in the league.
There was a lot to take away from Week 6 in the BIG3, setting up for a huge next stretch of basketball.
Top Week 6 Performances in the BIG3
Montrezl Harrell (Chicago Triplets)
Week 6 stats: 34 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal
The walking bucket is at it again. In three games this season, Harrell has scored 30+ every time out, including a record-setting 42-point performance last week. He followed up his historic performance with another double-double this week, 34 points and 13 rebounds.
Despite his performance, the Triplets suffered their first loss of the season. Win or lose, Harrell proved once again that he’s the most unguardable player in the BIG3. He’s been on a historic run this season and every week is a must-watch, including next week when his team is trying to bounce back after their first defeat.
Lance Stephenson (Miami 305)
Week 6 stats: 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 2 four-pointers
Ever since their suspensions, the duo of Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson have been heating up for the Miami 305. In turn, the team has won two in a row and find themselves at .500 at 3-3 and holding the final playoff spot. This week, Stephenson took over and led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds, his first double-double of the season.Â
Stephenson played his best game of the season so far and he closed it out in style, hitting two consecutive four-pointers to seal the victory for Miami. He’s now hit at least one four-pointer in back-to-back games. Stephenson has put up consistent numbers this season and has Miami playing their best ball of 2026.
Nasir Core (Detroit Amps)
Week 6 stats: 24 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
Nasir Core‘s hard work has finally paid off, as he carried the Detroit Amps to the biggest upset of the season. They defeated the Triplets 52-49 to secure their first win of the season while giving Chicago their first loss of the season. Core was the only Amp that scored in double figures, making his performance even more impressive.
With his 24 points, Core also hit the game-winner that fended off Harrell’s 30-point game. Despite losing week in and week out, Core has put up some of the best single-game performances in the BIG3 this season, and now in a win, he compiled the third-highest scoring game in the league this week.
Deshawn Stephens (Boston Ball Hogs)
Week 6 stats: 22 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block
Deshawn Stephens lands himself on the list of top performers yet again this week, as he did so with his 17-point, 10-rebound double-double last week. This is now his fourth consecutive double-digit game and his first 20-point performance of the season. He nearly notched a double-double again this week as he continued to clean up the trash on the boards.Â
He also continues to display an all-around game, placing top-10 on the season in field-goal percentage and steals while also having at least a block in each of the last two weeks. Stephens has been exactly what the Boston Ball Hogs have needed in a pair with Jeremy Pargo.
Jordan Crawford (LA Riot)
Week 6 stats: 21 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 four-pointer
The LA Riot were without big man Dwight Howard for the third straight week, and that meant Jordan Crawford would have to step up in his absence. He’s led the team in scoring over the past two weeks but nearly doubled his point total from last week, scoring 21 points and even hitting a four-pointer in the game.
Crawford hasn’t been his typical self so far this season, and part of that has been the absence of Howard, but if the Riot want to make a run, vintage games like this from Crawford would go a long way in the playoff race.
