After a chaotic week seven in the BIG3, things have gotten tight in the playoff chase. Only two spots remain in the race as Bivouac clinched their first playoff appearance in franchise history. They join the Enemies as the only other team to clinch to this point. Joining the Killer 3’s and Power eliminated from the postseason is the Aliens. We saw another 30-point performance and a lot of players stepping up their game in critical matchups. Next Sunday is going to be fun as six teams are still alive for the two remaining playoff spots heading into the last week of the regular season. Week eight is going to must-see TV.
BIG3 Basketball: Top Week 7 Performances
Michael Beasley (3’s Company)
Week 7 stats: 30 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
When Michael Beasley is on, no one in the league can stop him. 3’s Company didn’t get a chance to play last week due to flight issues so coming off of a week of rest, he put on another show. Beasley put up back-to-back 30-point performances with his 30 points this week while adding eight rebounds. In week five he put up a double-double with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Despite his great performance, 3’s Company loses their second game of the season and has to wait another week to see if they can clinch a playoff spot.
Isaiah Briscoe (Trilogy)
Week 7 stats: 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block
Isaiah Briscoe has done everything in his power and then some to help Trilogy stay alive in playoff contention. He followed up last week’s 29-point performance with a 25-point performance this week. This comes after his record-setting 37-point performance in week four. Because of his efforts, Trilogy has won three in a row and improve to 3-4 after starting the season 0-4.
Jeremy Pargo (Triplets)
Week 7 stats: 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal
Where would the Triplets be without Jeremy Pargo? They were again without Joe Johnson this week but yet again he put up another 20-point performance. This week it was exactly 20 points while adding in eight rebounds, five assists, and a steal. This was his third consecutive game scoring 20 or more and his fourth overall on the season. Pargo keeps the Triplets alive for the season in hopes of getting back to the playoffs again this year.
Jordan Crawford (Enemies)
Week 7 stats: 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists
Jordan Crawford has been consistent for the Enemies all season and this week he stepped it up. He nearly notched a double-double as he had 20 points with eight rebounds. He didn’t have enough help to preserve the Enemies’ perfect season as they fall for the first time in 2024. With their win last week, they already clinched a playoff spot. Crawford loves to shine around this time of year and this might just be a preview of what we will see throughout the playoffs.
