2024 BIG3 Basketball: Top Week 4 Performances

The first Sunday slate in the BIG3 might’ve had a few blowout games but in terms of performances, it might’ve been the best week overall. We saw a history-making performance followed by a 25-point double-double. The Enemies and Bivouac win yet again, remaining undefeated at 4-0 while the Killer 3’s and Trilogy still have yet to win a game at 0-4. Next Sunday is the halfway point of season seven as it’s a pivotal week for a lot of teams looking to keep up in the playoff chase.

BIG3 Basketball: Top Week 4 Performances

Isaiah Briscoe (Trilogy)

Week 4 stats: 37 points, 7 rebounds

Even in a Trilogy two-point loss to the 3 Headed Monsters, Isaiah Briscoe laid it all on the court to put up a masterful performance. He already had 17 points at halftime and never looked back. With Briscoe finishing with an outstanding 37 points, he set the BIG3 record for the most points in a single game. He started the season with a 25-point performance so this is no surprise for a player of his caliber. Even with the Trilogy starting 0-4, record-breaking outings like this show you he’s done everything in his power to keep this team alive.

Kevin Murphy (Tri-State)

Week 4 stats: 25 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist

Kevin Murphy has performed like one of the best players in the BIG3 so far this season. After his week one outing of 11 points, he put up 18 and 19 points the next two weeks. Murphy has been trending up every week, leading up to a 25-point, 10 rebound double-double on Sunday. Outside of Henry Sims, no one else was a help to Murphy’s outstanding performance this week but if he keeps playing like this, he’s in the running for yet another MVP award and will help Tri-State do some damage.

Leandro Barbosa (Ball Hogs)

Week 4 stats: 22 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal

Following up a double-double last week, Leandro Barbosa was close to putting up yet another in the Ball Hogs victory. He put up 22 points with eight rebounds, four assists, and a steal. Barbosa has been his team’s best player, nearly putting up another double-double in week one with 19 points and eight rebounds. He’s been filling the stat sheet across the board and is a big reason why the Ball Hogs are playing even .500 basketball.

Jodie Meeks (Ball Hogs)

Week 4 stats: 21 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block

Helping Barbosa in his great performance was Jodie Meeks, who’s also had a hand in the Ball Hogs 2-2 record. He put up similar numbers to Barbosa as he had 21 points, seven rebounds, and an assist. He even chipped in on the defensive side as well with a block. Meeks put up his best half of the season when he scored 13 points to give the Ball Hogs a crucial halftime lead. The veteran has been solid all year and is helping his team stay in the hunt.

Corey Brewer (Bivouac)

Week 4 stats: 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block

Corey Brewer has been one of the best two-way players in the BIG3 so far this season, getting it done on both ends of the floor. He led Bivouac this week with 20 points and six rebounds while adding in two steals and a block. Brewers lead the league in steals with nine and are towards the top in blocks with four. Not only has he put himself in the Defensive Player of the Year discussion but he also put himself in the MVP discussion for being top three in points scored as well. Not to mention that Bivouac is one of the only two teams at 4-0 this season and Brewer is a huge reason for that.

Glen Rice Jr. (Power): 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal
Jeremy Pargo (Triplets): 18 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 four-pointer
