I am originally from New York, currently living in Florida with a degree in Marine Biology and Environmental Science. Not typically what you would expect to see in a new sports writer am I right? I've been around sports my entire life and played competitive basketball through high school with the opportunity to play Division III. Concussions ultimately hampered that dream and it was time to move on to a different lifestyle. The decision not to play collegiate basketball has brought me here and has allowed me to have a foot in two worlds, the world that I came to love through my college studies, and the world I have loved since childhood. I cannot say how excited I am to be beginning my life as a sports writer.
