The Raiders started great this season, but now everything is just falling apart, with a losing streak after losing four games in a row. I think Crosby is needed on that team.
Crosby ability to put pressure on the quarterback, stop the run game, and recover fumbles makes him a very valuable player to many teams. At the beginning of the season, everyone thought he would be traded away, but from the news we heard, it looks like he is staying.
The Raiders have never really been a playoff contender; this is the first year. They may have a chance, so why would you trade him away when he is such a great leader?
Trading Crosby Would Leave a Major Hole
If the Raiders decide to trade away Crosby in the future, that would not be a great idea. Trading away Crosby would make the defense worse and leave a hole in the team. Crosby is a leader to many players on the Raiders, and if you trade him away, you would just make your team worse.
Now, even if the Raiders got picks in return, that does not even matter; the players they draft would take many years to develop into talent. Keeping the star on the team would be the best idea.
