Maxx Crosby Landing Spots: 3 Teams That Make the Most Sense

Maxx Crosby is one of the NFL’s most relentless defensive players. His speed, strength, and nonstop effort make him a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. If the Las Vegas Raiders ever decide to trade their superstar pass rusher, several teams could be interested in making a blockbuster deal. However, a trade is only a possibility, not a confirmed plan.

Here are three teams that could make sense as potential landing spots for Crosby.

Potential Maxx Crosby Landing Spots

1. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys could be a very exciting landing spot for Crosby. Jerry Jones is the kind of owner who is not scared of making big trades. Adding Crosby would give the Cowboys another dangerous, talented defender on the field. He could definitely change games and help the Cowboys on defense.

Crosby is a player who has an aggressive playing style and could put pressure on the quarterback. His pressure could help his other teammates to get through the offensive line as well, and the opposing team would realize that they need to put extra linemen on Crosby.

The biggest thing would be the price: can the Cowboys afford Crosby? The Raiders would probably want draft picks, and Dallas would have to consider his price tag before making the move. The Cowboys would be an exciting place for Crosby to land. He would definitely strengthen their defensive line, and maybe even help lead them to a playoff run.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could definitely use Crosby on their defense. Vita Vea signed his contract through the 2027 season. That means they could create one of the best defensive lines in the NFL today. Imagine that duo, Vea and Crosby, on the same team. It would be a nightmare for the NFC South.

The Buccaneers are 1-5 this season so far and falling out of contention fast. With 11 games remaining on the schedule, there’s still time to turn it around, but it’s not likely to get easier for them. Bringing in Crosby could give them an instant spark.

He is an elite defensive lineman that can put pressure on the quarterback and stop the run. I can’t promise that if the Buccaneers were to trade for him, they would do great, but I can promise he could definitely help them get better on defense and be competitive against good teams.

3. Las Vegas Raiders

It would be a bad move to even consider trading away Crosby. He is probably their top player on the roster, and he is a key piece to the Raiders franchise. Why would you want to trade away your best player on the defense that could make you even worse than you were with him?

I would definitely keep Crosby by any means necessary. Having said that, the Raiders could be one of those teams that trade away their talented players on defense for multiple picks or even young talent that could grow into potential superstars.

If Crosby were to leave the Raiders, I would want to see him go to a true contender for the Super Bowl, and not go to a bad team. But if it were my choice, I would keep Crosby in Vegas and hope he retires as a Raider.
