AL MVP

Best Odds to Win 2025 AL MVP

MVP conversations are heating up and that means the season is fast approaching. When it comes to the 2025 AL MVP, everyone seems to think it’s a two-man race just like last season. Aaron Judge came out on top in 2024 and will have a real chance to do so again this season but a certain Kansas City Royals star will be right there with him. While there are two clear favorites, other talents might have something to say to close the gap this season. It’s going to be a fun race from start to finish to see who brings home the 2025 AL MVP award.

2025 AL MVP Favorites

Aaron Judge (+300)

Judge won the AL MVP unanimously last season after entering 2024 as the favorite to win. With his 58 home runs last season, he also had 144 RBI to go along with a .458 On-Base Percentage, .701 Slugging Percentage, and a 1.159 On-Base Plus Slugging, all of which ranked first across Major League Baseball. Judge will always hit for power and rank among the best in almost every major statistical hitting category. If healthy, which is always a question, that gives him a chance to win his third career MVP in 2025.

Bobby Witt Jr. (+310)

Bobby Witt Jr. had a strong case to win the AL MVP last season but Judge’s impressive numbers were more than enough to bring home the award. Witt Jr. showcased his superstar potential as he followed up his 30 home run, 96 RBI campaign in 2023 with a 32 home run, 109 RBI season in 2024. That was enough to place second in AL MVP voting. He did it on both offense and defense, leading the league in batting average (.332) while also winning a gold glove at shortstop. Witt Jr. can do it all and if he repeats these numbers this season and then some, he very well may win the 2025 AL MVP.

Gunnar Henderson (+650)

In 2023, Gunnar Henderson burst on the scene with the Baltimore Orioles by winning the AL Rookie of the Year while also finishing eighth in the MVP voting. He improved across the board in 2024 by hitting 37 home runs with 92 RBI, finishing fourth in the MVP race and earning his first All-Star nod. Henderson leads the charge in Baltimore and is another young superstar in the making at just 23 years old. It’ll be tough to compete with Judge and Witt Jr., but Henderson has all the tools to make a run at the award.

Corey Seager (+1100)

Corey Seager spent seven years with the Los Angeles Dodgers before getting traded to the Texas Rangers in 2022. Since then, he’s made it to three All-Star games, finished as a runner-up for the MVP, and helped the Rangers win the World Series in 2023 while also collecting the World Series MVP for the second time in his career.

The one thing that has kept Seager from winning his first regular season MVP award is health. Over the last two seasons, he’s played 119 and 123 games. Seager has also had a couple of seasons where he’s only played 26 games and 95 games. He’s one of the best left-handed hitters in the league so if he can have a healthy season and is on the top of his game, competing for the 2025 AL MVP might not be out of the question.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (+1400)

It’s been a long offseason for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Toronto Blue Jays. The 20-year-old slugger has expressed his desire to stay in Toronto but he and the team have been far apart in negotiations, opening the chance of a departure whether it’s at the trade deadline or next offseason when he’s a free agent. Whatever happens, Guerrero Jr. will start the 2025 campaign as a Blue Jay, gearing up to have another great season.

He hit 30 home runs in 2024 with 103 RBI. That was the fourth consecutive year he’s gone over 90 RBI with two of them being 100+ RBI seasons. Guerrero Jr. made an All-Star appearance in all four of those campaigns and finished sixth in MVP voting last season. At just 20 years old, he will be in the MVP conversation for years to come, no matter if it’s in the AL or NL.

Next Best Odds:

Yordan Alvarez (+1600)
Mike Trout (+1800)
Julio Rodriguez (+2000)
Jose Ramirez (+2200)
Rafael Devers (+3000)
Wyatt Langford (+5000)
Jarren Duran (+5000)
