Week 11 NFL Injury Report
Rams @ Patriots
Rams
Rob Havenstein: Havenstein, one of the more consistent right tackles in the league will miss this week due to an ankle injury. He’s continued to be solid in pass protection, with only one grade under 65.1. With backup Joe Noteboom unlikely to play, the inexperienced Warren McClendon Jr. will have to step in. Look for Anfernee Jennings to pressure Matthew Stafford this week.
Patriots
Kyle Dugger/Marte Mapu: Due to ankle and neck injuries respectively, both starting safeties for New England are listed as questionable and had limited participation in practice. If one or either of these two can’t play, look for the Rams to have more easy completions in the middle of the field.
Ravens @ Steelers
Ravens
No notable injuries.
Steelers
Alex Highsmith: Highsmith, Pittsburgh’s starting pass rusher opposite T.J. Watt will miss this week because of an ankle injury. He’s had a slight down year but is still a respected pass rusher around the league. New acquisition Preston Smith will get the start this week. Expect a slightly worse pass rush opposite Watt this week as Smith gets up to speed.
Jaguars @ Lions
Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence: A shoulder injury will ensure Lawrence sits again this week. There is a possibility the Jaguars shut him down for the rest of the season just to be safe. Backup Mac Jones played solid most of the game week, but it’s clear he’s not a starter. Expect the Jaguars to come away with 14 points or less this week.
Tank Bigbsy: An ankle injury will keep one of Jacksonville’s playmakers out. With Travis Etienne Jr. playing, expect him to get a full load of carries, but to be inefficient against a great run-stuffing defensive line.
Lions
Sam LaPorta: Detroit will be without their starting tight end as he recovers from a shoulder injury. He’s been great at times, but it’s clear he’s not a priority in the offense. Expect the offense to be run-based this week and for backup Brock Wright to get a few targets.
Colts @ Jets
Colts
Bernhard Raimann: Raimann, one of the best tackles in the league will be out this week due to a knee injury. His overall offensive grade for the year stands at 82.5. With Matt Goncalves starting, look for Anthony Richardson to feel significant pressure from his blindside.
Jets
Tyron Smith: A neck injury will ensure New York also goes without their starting left tackle. He’s been good for a year 13 player, though he’s been somewhat inconsistent. The young Olu Fashanu will take his place at left tackle. He’s been a complete wildcard but should be able to hold up against a non-threatening Colts’ defensive line.
Browns @ Saints
Browns
No notable injuries.
Saints
Lucas Patrick: Patrick, normally New Orleans’ starting center will be out due to an ankle injury. He’s been terrible when at center but is surprisingly strong at guard. Regardless, he’s an upgrade over Shane Lemieux who was disastrous in his only action against Atlanta in week four. Look for the Browns to get increased interior pressure this week.
Packers @ Bears
Packers
Jaire Alexander: A knee injury has Green Bay’s top cornerback listed as questionable with a knee injury. He was limited in practice. If he does play, look for DJ Moore to have even more trouble getting the ball than usual. In 2023, Alexander limited Moore to 89 yards over two games. If Keisan Nixon covers Moore, look for him to get open for one or two big plays.
Bears
Teven Jenkins: The Bears will be missing their starting left guard as he recovers from an ankle injury. He’s been one of the most consistent at his position and likely the best offensive lineman in Chicago. Backup Ryan Bates was terrible in his only significant action recently, finishing last week with an offensive grade of 56.0. With Bates starting, expect the Bears to struggle protecting Caleb Williams from the interior.
Vikings @ Titans
Vikings
No notable injuries.
Titans
Leroy Watson IV: Watson IV, Tennessee’s starting right tackle will be out this week as he recovers from a back injury. Neither he nor backup John Ojukwu have played close to an average level this year. With Ojukwu in, look for Will Levis to feel significant pressure from Jonathan Greenard.
L’Jarius Sneed: Sneed will miss yet another week with a quad injury. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has been stepping in at the CB1 spot and while he’s tackled well, his coverage leaves much to be desired. Look for Justin Jefferson to have a 100+ yard game this week.
Raiders @ Dolphins
Raiders
Cody Whitehair/Andre James: Respective ankle injuries will sideline the Raiders’ starting left guard and center this week. Both have had slight moments of good play, though it’s been overshadowed by their overall offensive struggles. With Jackson Powers-Johnson and Andreus Peat likely starting, look for the Raiders’ offense to be even worse than usual, struggling to get the run game going.
Nate Hobbs: Hobbs, the Raiders’ starting nickelback will be out this week while he recovers from an ankle injury. He’s been largely inept in coverage, with an overall grade of 63.4 in that category. This likely puts Darnay Holmes in the lineup, who’s been even worse than Hobbs. This should give a slight advantage to Odell Beckham Jr.
Dolphins
Kendall Fuller: Miami will be missing their CB2 this week as he remains in concussion protocol. He’s been a quality piece of the Miami secondary, though his play has slightly fallen off this year. It appears as if Cam Smith will take his spot in the lineup. In limited action this year, he has a coverage grade of 32.1. Don’t be surprised if Tre Tucker beats him a few times on Sunday.
Seahawks @ 49ers
Seahawks
Noah Fant: A groin injury will sideline Seattle’s starting tight end. He’s proven to be a legit vertical threat this year and a quality piece to the offense. Expect a couple of targets for AJ Barner and a significant increase in targets for D.K. Metcalfe and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
49ers
Charvarius Ward: San Fransisco will continue to be without their top boundary cornerback as he deals with a personal issue. This likely moves Isaac Yiadom to the top spot, where his main responsibility will be D.K. Metcalfe. Though Yiadom is solid, look for Metcalfe to get the best of him.
Falcons @ Broncos
Falcons
Mike Hughes: Atlanta will be missing their CB2 this week as he recovers from a neck injury. He’s been solid in coverage most of the year, though he has had a few down games. Backup Clark Phillips III is a quality backup and should be able to hold his own against Lil’Jordan Humphrey.
Dee Alford: Alford, an average slot cornerback in the league will miss this game due to a hamstring injury. It’s currently unclear who will pick up the nickelback spot, as Atlanta’s secondary is ravaged by injuries. Regardless, Devaughn Vele will have a quality matchup this week.
Broncos
No notable injuries.
Chiefs @ Bills
Chiefs
No notable injuries.
Bills
Keon Coleman: A wrist injury will ensure Coleman continues to be sidelined. He’d really begun to show his talents before his injury. With Coleman sidelined, look for Amari Cooper and Khalil Shakir to get more targets than any other receivers.
Dalton Kincaid: Buffalo will also be without their starting tight end as he recovers from a knee injury. He’s had an underwhelming year but is still a threat at the tight-end spot. Backup Dawson Knox has a similar skillset to Kincaid, so his absence won’t be felt much.
Bengals @ Chargers
Bengals
Orlando Brown Jr.: Brown Jr., the Bengals’ starting left tackle could miss another game with knee and fibula injuries. He did not practice this week. Backup Cody Ford has looked terrible this week. If Brown Jr. can’t play, look for Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack to terrorize Joe Burrow.
Chargers
No notable injuries.
