The Warriors are a clear super team in the NBA. This has me thinking, what would a MLB super team lineup look like? Well, here is my unstoppable MLB lineup, or the Golden State Warriors of Major League Baseball.
C J.T. Realmuto
Realmuto is just 27 years old, he is turning into an offensive and defensive stud, best part is he is still developing into his own.
1B Freddie Freeman
Freeman has one of the sweetest left handed swings in the game, splits do not matter to him, he absolutely crushes both lefties and righties.
2B Jose Altuve
Altuve does it all on the base ball field, he is the epitome of consistency, he is the smallest guy in the league but has the biggest heart.
3B Nolan Arenado
Arenado is an absolute animal, he is easily the best defensive third baseman in league, Coors Field boost? Nah. He tears it up on the road as well. Best part is, he is only going to get better.
SS Manny Machado
Manny Machado has personality, as they said with Manny Ramirez: “it’s just Manny being Manny.” Power, average, elite defense at both third and shortstop, everything you could ask for.
LF Mookie Betts
Mookie “the Mook-Man” Betts is starting to turn into that MVP candidate. He does everything on the field, we are seeing a star develop before our very eyes.
CF Mike Trout
Trout is the BEST PLAYER IN BASEBALL. He is just 26 years old and is ALREADY a perennial Hall of Famer, argument over.
RF Bryce Harper
Harper has a sweet left handed swing, and of course that light tower power. When he is at his best, he is arguably one of the top hitters in the game.
DH J.D. Martinez
Martinez is an animal, like Harper he has that light tower power, expect to ALL FIELDS. There is no better way to put it, J-Mart just absolutely mashes the baseball.
SP Max Scherzer
Scherzer is an absolute bulldog on the mound, he strikes fear into opposing hitters. He is just flat out dominant and a strikeout machine. Scherzer is definitely a Hall of Famer.
SP Jacob deGrom
DeGrom is a battler, he almost pitches better when he is in a tough spot with men on base. Even without his best stuff, DeGrom finds a way to get his job done.
SP Clayton Kershaw
Kershaw is the best lefty in baseball when healthy. His has that signature wicked curveball, that when he is on, is unhittable.
SP Chris Sale
Sale is not far behind Kershaw, if not better, when it comes to lefties. Sale is also bulldog, and he has some flair o the mound.
SP Justin Verlander
Verlander is a straight up gamer. The righty is a veteran with a ton of experience around baseball. His career has gone from the top, to the bottom, and now to the top again.
CL Aroldis Chapman
There is no batter way to describe Chapman than CONSISTENT HEAT. He is a strikeout machine, good luck making contact against him.
