Odell Beckham Jr. Contract: The One He Deserves

After months of speculation and rumors, the New York Giants did the right thing by giving Odell Beckham Jr. a massive pay raise.

The Giants and Beckham agreed to a five-year deal worth $95 million, with $65 million guaranteed that will make him the highest-paid receiver in the game, as first reported by ESPN’s Josina Anderson and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Beckham signed the contract the next day, saying it’s something he’s dreamed about his entire life. (https://www.instagram.com/p/BnBjXZuj7I2/?hl=en&taken-by=obj)

Since “the catch”, Beckham has been the focal point of the Giants’ offense.  Beckham is, at worst, the third-best receiver in the NFL. When he’s on his game, there’s an argument for him being the best receiver in the NFL. He’s a threat to score any time when the ball is in his hand.
Odell Beckham makes the Giants unquestionably better. When the Giants drafted Saquon Barkley with the No.2 overall, the plan is to have him alongside Beckham for years to come. The Giants now have a sensational duo for the immediate future, which will make life exorbitantly easier for Eli Manning.
