NBA Draft Combine: Potential Prospects For The Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder are currently in a round two showdown against the Denver Nuggets; the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery results were revealed. The combine testing, measurements, and scrimmages.

Despite having the best record in the NBA, the Thunder could receive another lottery pick if the Philadelphia 76ers‘ top-six protected pick would have conveyed.

However, Luck wasn’t on the Thunder’s side; Oklahoma City will still have three draft picks ahead of the 2025 NBA Draft. They own the No. 15 pick from the Miami Heat, the No. 24 pick from the Los Angeles Clippers, and the No. 44 pick from the Atlanta Hawks.

After the results of the combine, here are eight potential prospects who could be nice additions to this contending Thunder roster:

Prospects to Watch for the OKC Thunder

Rasheer Fleming

Position: PF/C

Height (without shoes): 6’8.25

Standing Reach: 9’1

Weight: 232.4 lbs

Wingspan: 7’5.25

Hand Length: 9.5″

Hand Width: 9.5″

Wingspan Differential: 9″

The stock riser from the combine was Rasheer Fleming, who tested and measured very well.

Fleming has great positional size and shooting feel, which would be a great fit and fill a need for the Thunder.

Carter Bryant

Position: SF/PF

Height (without shoes): 6’6.50

Standing Reach: 8’10

Weight: 214.8 lbs

Wingspan: 6’11.75

Hand Length: 8.5″

Hand Width: 9.5″

Wingspan Differential: 5.25″

Carter Bryant’s combination of positional size, versatility on both ends, and ability to be a floor spacer would fill the Thunder’s need in the forward position.

Liam McNeeley

Position: SF

Height (without shoes): 6’6.75

Standing Reach: 8’3.50

Weight: 214.6 lbs

Wingspan: 6’8.50

Hand Length: 8.75″

Hand Width: 10″

Wingspan Differential: 1.75″

Liam McNeeley is an elite three-point shooter whose feel for the game flew under the radar. His shooting and size would be quite beneficial for the Thunder.

Will Riley

Position: SG/SF

Height (without shoes): 6’8.25

Standing Reach: 8’8

Weight: 185.6 lbs

Wingspan: 6’8.75

Hand Length: 8.5″

Hand Width: 9″

Wingspan Differential: 0.5″

Will Riley is a raw prospect with high upside who can impact the game on both sides of the ball.

Although he’s raw in several areas and lacks consistency, his offensive upside makes it worth the Thunder taking a big swing at him.

Egor Demin

Position: PG/SG

Height (without shoes): 6’8.25

Standing Reach: 8’9.50

Weight: 199.2 lbs

Wingspan: 6’10.25

Hand Length: 8.25″

Hand Width: 9.25″

Wingspan Differential: 2″

The Thunder are already loaded at the guard position, and Egor Demin’s shooting raises some concerns.

Demin measured well at the combine, and his playmaking ability at his size makes him intriguing. Thunder fans may not be in favor of selecting another guard, but they could use another playmaker on the roster.

Drake Powell

Position: SG/SF

Height (without shoes): 6’5.25

Standing Reach: 8’7

Weight: 200.4 lbs

Wingspan: 7’

Hand Length: 8.75″

Hand Width: 10″

Wingspan Differential: 6.75″

The Thunder does not need guards or wings, but they have the luxury of taking big swings with their treasure trove of assets.

Drake Powell impressed at the combine. Although he would be a swing pick, he has the length, shooting, and defensive tools to be a contributor for the Thunder.

Nique Clifford

Position: SG/SF

Height (without shoes): 6’5.25

Standing Reach: 8’6.50

Weight: 202 lbs

Wingspan: 6’8

Hand Length: 8.25″

Hand Width: 8.5″

Wingspan Differential: 2.75

Nique Clifford is an older prospect (23 years old) who would be immediately ready to make an impact for the contending Thunder. With his ability to be a Swiss Army knife — by finishing plays, passing, defending multiple positions, and knocking down the three.

Noah Penda

There are no official measurements. Noah Penda was not present at the combine.

Noah Penda is a 20-year-old, 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward from France.

Penda checks the Thunder boxes to dribble, pass, shoot, and defend.

He would provide physicality and switchability and bring much-needed size to the Thunder’s forward positions.
