Five Premier League Youngsters to Look Out For

5. Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Arsenal)

The Arsenal player has been at the London club all his life and has progressed well through the youth ranks. The 19-year-old has made seven appearances in all competitions for the first team, but has featured only twice in the Premier League.

The winger recently was part of the Under-20s World Cup winning side in the summer. Showing the talent the youngster has. Maitland-Niles has only had one loan spell so far, at Ipswich Town. He played 30 times for the Tractor Boys in the 2015/16 season in the Championship.

Arsenal think highly of him after becoming the side’s second youngest Champions League player at 17 years and 102 days.

4. Jonathan Leko (West Bromwich Albion)

The 18 year-old is one of few players his age that have forced his way into the senior team already. He has made 14 appearances in the Premier League for West Bromwich Albion, nine of which were last season. Leko is a regular in the under 23s playing in their league 42 times so far for the Midlands side.

The winger has impressed when called upon and was on the shortlist for European Golden Boy. A trophy given by sports journalists to a under 21 year-old player perceived to have been the most impressive during a calendar year.
