College Football Rivalry Games This Saturday (11/01/2025)

Two weeks ago, there were talks of it being one of the biggest weekends of upsets of the year. Well, the last few weekends blew that out of the water. Four top 10 teams were upset by either lower top 25 or unranked teams. Now, to follow that up, there are multiple power four conference rivalries this weekend to look forward to. Those games on top of other things can be found to gamble on FIRST For Wins.

Alright, lets get into the list!

Top 3 College Football Rivalry Games This Weekend

Penn State vs Ohio State

The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes face off in a Big Ten conference matchup this weekend that has turned into a rivalry in the past 10 years. A lot of that has to do with the formation of the East-West divisions from 2014 to 2023 and during those years, there were some major games between these two schools. Mostly dominated by Ohio State, Penn State has caused some chaos as well. In 2016, one of the most notable games took place where the Nittany Lions put up 17 points in the fourth quarter to upset the Buckeyes 24-21. Penn State would go on to win the East division and win the Big Ten championship and an appearance in the Rose Bowl.

This season, there was potential of this being the best game of the year with both teams with National Championship hopes. However, that is not the case this season. Penn State is on a four-game losing streak, while the No. 1 Buckeyes have been dominant all season. Ohio State is only allowing 5.9 points per game this season. Should be interesting.

The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions face off at 12 PM EST on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party (Florida-Georgia)

One of the more iconic rivalries in College Football is this weekend. Known as the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” game between the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville, Florida. Georgia has been dominating this rivalry since 2017, only losing in 2020 to Gators. Overall, Georgia owns this rivalry 56-44-2 with the Bulldogs on a four game winning streak.

This season, Florida has had a tough season, firing head coach Billy Napier in the middle of the season. Now, it has a tough game against Georgia and it doesn’t look for them. The Bulldogs and Gators face off at 3:30 PM EST on Saturday, Nov. 1, at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.

Army-Air Force

One of the multiple matchups between the three service academies that have football is this weekend. The Army Black Knights and Air Force Falcons face off for a shot at the Commander-In-Chief Trophy. Air Force lost to Navy earlier on this season and now have a big game against Army.

If the Black Knights can win on the road in Colorado Springs, it will come down to the Army-Navy Game in December. Army and Air Force face off at 10 AM MST on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Falcon Stadium in Air Force Academy, Colorado.
