2026 NFL Draft: Biggest Draft Need For Every NFC Team

After going through the biggest draft needs for every AFC team, here are the biggest draft needs for every NFC team.

Biggest 2026 NFL Draft Need for Every NFC Team

Philadelphia Eagles

Biggest draft need: Pass rush

The Eagles weren’t able to re-sign free agent Jaelan Phillips, as he signed a big deal with the Panthers, so trying to find a way to bolster their pass rush through the draft should be the priority.

Dallas Cowboys

Biggest draft need: linebacker

The Cowboys are void of linebacker talent and could take multiple swings at the position in the 2026 draft.

Washington Commanders

Biggest draft need: offensive weapons

The Commanders need to continue to add talent around star quarterback Jayden Daniels. With pick number seven, they could add a game-changer in Jeremiyah Love or any of the top receivers.

New York Giants

Biggest draft need: defensive backfield help

The Giants could overhaul their secondary with multiple top 60 picks in the draft. They are in a position to take the best cornerback or top safety, Caleb Downs, in the first round.

Chicago Bears

Biggest draft need: Pass rushers

The Bears’ pass rush was lackluster in 2025, yet they still led the league in defensive turnovers despite the pass rush problem. Adding pass rushers through the draft could help Chicago stay steady in 2026.

Green Bay Packers

Biggest draft need: cornerback

The Packers could stand to use some upgrades at cornerback. Unfortunately for them, they do not have a first-round pick for this year or next due to the Micah Parsons trade.

Minnesota Vikings

Biggest draft need: Defensive linemen

The Vikings released both Javon Hargrave and Jonathan Allen, whom they signed in free agency last offseason, so they will need to fix their defensive line through the 2026 draft.

Detroit Lions

Biggest draft need: offensive line help

The Lions could use some offensive line help after releasing Taylor Decker this offseason, and the Lions also struggled last season after the retirement of Frank Ragnow.

Carolina Panthers

Biggest draft need: interior defensive line help

The Panthers could use more help on the interior of their defensive line next to Derrick Brown. This offseason, they signed Jaelan Phillips to sure up the edge, and now they could attack the interior of the defensive line in the draft.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Biggest draft need: Pass rusher

The Bucs could stand to add more firepower to their pass rush, as they didn’t get the production they wanted out of Haason Reddick last season. Yaya Diaby is a solid player, but they need more edge pass rushers.

Atlanta Falcons

Biggest draft need: wide receiver

The Falcons have Drake London as their top wide receiver and Kyle Pitts, who is a tight end but a de facto wide receiver. However, adding another weapon to complete the pass-catching group could complete the offense. The Falcons are without a first-round pick as they traded to the Rams during the 2025 draft to move up and get James Pearce.

New Orleans Saints

Biggest draft needs: wide receiver

The Saints could add another receiver opposite Chris Olave, who can capitalize when defenses shift coverages over to Olave. Carnell Tate could make sense in New Orleans.

Seattle Seahawks

Biggest draft need: running back

The reigning Super Bowl champions lost Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker this offseason to the Chiefs and could look to his replacement in the 2026 NFL draft.

Los Angeles Rams

Biggest draft need: Wide Receiver

With star wide receiver Puka Nacua dealing with off-the-field issues and Davante Adams going into his age-34 season, the Rams could look to add a wide receiver in the draft.

San Francisco 49ers

Biggest draft need: Offensive line

The 49ers will need to prepare for life post-Trent Williams. The future Hall of Fame left tackle is one of the oldest players at his position.

Arizona Cardinals

Biggest draft need: offensive line

The Cardinals should continue building out their offensive line for their next quarterback post Kyler Murray.
