NFL week 4

The 3 Best Games on the NFL Schedule in Week 4

We’re already heading into week 4 of the NFL season and it seems we have a grasp on what most of these teams are. There are quite a few interesting games to watch this week and plenty of storylines to follow in those games. There are a total of six undefeated teams left around the league, and two of them face off in week 4. As the NFL moves into a crucial week, there might be an uptick in betting on these games, and more people might even look into playing on the best casino apps available as well. Let’s take a look at a few interesting games that are on the slate.

Week 4 Matchups to Watch

Indianapolis Colts vs Los Angeles Rams

Despite being 3-0 to start the season, many people still don’t know what to make of the Indianapolis Colts heading into this week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams. With no belief in Anthony Richardson and signing Daniel Jones in the offseason, the season looked like another throwaway for the Colts. So far, that hasn’t looked to be the case.

Jones and the Colts are well exceeding expectations to start the season, and that has a lot to do with how well Shane Steichen has coached, who might have been on the hot seat coming in. Their offense ranks third in rushing yards, fourth in passing yards, and second in both total yards and points scored. On the defensive side, they also rank top 10 in those main statistical categories.

On top of Jones looking like one of the best quarterbacks through three weeks, Jonathan Taylor looks like the best running back in the NFL as he leads the league in rushing yards.

Is this real? We’ll see this upcoming week when they face their first real test of the season against the Rams. Los Angeles also ranked top 10 or borderline top ten in many offensive categories with the connection of Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua. While they do rank fifth in total yards and sixth in passing yards on defense, they are towards the middle of the pack in rushing yards and points allowed, something the Colts are both top three in.

After a painful loss against the Eagles, the Rams will try to bounce back against an undefeated Colts team, which everyone is still trying to get a grasp on.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Baltimore Ravens

Two of the best quarterbacks in the league will face off in a crucial game on Sunday, but the meaning of “crucial game” might not have the meaning you think it would heading into it. Both teams are off to surprising 1-2 starts on the season and took different paths to get there.

The Baltimore Ravens have scored the most points in the league so far this season, but most of their other offensive ranks fall towards the middle of the pack. The Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive ranks land in the middle of the pack to the back half of the league, with them ranking 21st in points scored. Kansas City’s offense has not clicked whatsoever, and they look out of sync. They’re missing some offensive weapons, so that could play a part in it, but this doesn’t look like a typical Chiefs offense.

They could, however, get it going against a bad defense in Baltimore, which ranked 30th or worse in points allowed, rushing yards, passing yards, and total yards. The Chiefs typically rise up for big games, and a date with the Ravens, who they could very well meet in the postseason, is one of those.

Derrick Henry against the Chiefs’ run defense could be a problem for Kansas City, but overall as a unit, they’ve been decent. This is a big game for both teams in which the loser falls to 1-3.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are just two of three undefeated teams left in the NFC. It’s very much looking like this could be a playoff preview.

The Eagles are coming off a monumental comeback against the Rams on Sunday and still look like the team to beat in the NFC. Their defense might be getting off to a slow start, but it’s only a matter of time before they turn it on. Week 4 might be the time to do that as they face a Buccaneers offensive attack that will be without Mike Evans for the next few weeks. Still, the aerial offense is always one to watch for Tampa, no matter the circumstances.

Philly’s offense hasn’t gotten off to an amazing start either, but it’s ranked eighth in points scored thanks to their 33-point outburst against the Rams. The difference in this game might come down to how Saquon Barkley fairs against this Buccaneers rush defense, which ranked sixth in the league.

Even in Tampa Bay, the Eagles are favored by 3 1/2, but watch for this game to be close as each team fights to stay undefeated.
